CSIRO Discovery is a unique public science centre showcasing current Australian research and technology from CSIRO, Australia's largest research organisation.
Science is presented in an entertaining way to demystify it, and educate people of all ages about the fascinating world of research and innovation. Its two floors of glass-fronted working laboratory offer the public a unique insight into scientific research in progress.
Its interactive showcase of Australian scientific innovation makes it one of Canberra's major attractions.
Exhibition opening hours
- Monday to Friday – 9 am to 5 pm
- Weekends and public holidays – 11 am to 3 pm
- Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Good Friday.

- $8 adults
- $5 children, students and concessions
